After reading Sophie’s World, I embarked on my own deep dive into philosophy - one which is not so Euro-centric and also includes female voices: this, is my Philosophy Curriculum.

So far, I have visited creation myths - our earliest attempts at understanding the universe and life itself - as well as the Pre-Socratics, Confucius, Taoism, the Upanisads, and beyond.

Now, my journey has brought me to Plato’s door.

Not going to lie, some of the philosophy I’ve read so far has been incredibly difficult to follow - whether because it survives only in fragments (often dubiously attributed), or through later commentaries that muddy the original thought.

So I drew a deep breath when I picked up The Last Days of Socrates - my first foray into Plato.

But I have been so pleasantly surprised at how weirdly easy Plato is to read - especially considering his works are nearly 2,500 years old.
